Hitting the Docks Running!
It's time to fly to the Caribbean for the yacht charter show circuit! As a broker for yacht charters, we sell customized vacations on private yachts and travel to the Caribbean & Mediterranean to check out the boats, meet crews, engage clients and keep up with market trends. We will begin the fall/winter 2018 yacht show circuit in San Juan, Puerto Rico exploring and looking forward to a brilliant sunset over the ocean with a tropical drink in hand.
Then, it's a quick hop to the Virgin Islands where we owned & operated a 72' charter yacht for 18 years. This is our "backyard" and it's filled with longtime friends and yacht charter brokers who are like family. The camaraderie between everyone at the shows is electric and fun! We're looking forward to seeing the newest yachts & their polished crews.
On November 6-13, 2018, we hit the docks running in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands with 128 yachts to visit & crews to interview in just 8 days. Below are a few of the winners from last years show!
Finally, on December 4-10, 2018, we head to the 57th Annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show at the Nelson's Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina, and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina to view 90 yachts.
We'll be "yacht-hopping" from 9 am to 11 pm every day! It's a lot of work but we enjoy taking time to connect with the crews and the ambiance onboard each catamaran, sailing monohull, motor yacht, and power catamaran. We always look forward to the competitions designed specifically for showing off the talent, determination, and creativity of chefs, captains, deckhands, stewards, and stewardesses.

5. How safety conscious is the Crew? We take a very close inspection of the safety of the yacht such as exterior rigging & fittings and the condition of the decks. Then we inspect the condition of the interior and all soft goods such as linens and carpets, the overall decor of the yacht as well as cleanliness.
